Why Astre is more effective than your in-house credit control
We work 7am - 11pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 9pm Sundays. This enables us to contact all sorts of businesses that your in-house credit controller might not be able to reach during a standard working day.

That's why we've been very successful working for clients whose customers run pubs, restaurants, clubs and gyms. No matter if your customers are like them or if they work normal days and evade your calls. We can reach them.

Our customer-friendly approach
Astre's approach is different to that used by other credit controllers. Our goal is to help you keep your customers. So we make great customer service a major part of our credit management, appointing a personal Account Manager to each account.

Astre doesn't use the Dunning process
You might have heard of the Dunning process, which some credit controllers use to collect payment. It involves bombarding customers with a series of letters, It's a method we reject.

We believe that the Dunning process harms the relationships you have with customers, and could even cost you business. We operate more personally, keeping things polite and friendly at all stages of the collection process. This helps to strengthen relationships between you and your customers. And your customers end up paying on time because they don't want to let us down.

Ravie has worked in the credit management and credit control sector for 20 years, and is a
member of the Institute of Credit Management. Before Joining Astre he managed various credit control and finance roles in-house for prestigious companies

An example of our work
We recently collected 35k for a client -money that had been outstanding for some time, with some of the debt going back four years. Astre collected it from a number of accounts that our client had virtually given up on. Needless to say, he is now 35k better off and can reinvest that money in his business.

Worth remembering:
If you allow your customers to hang on to your money after a particular sale, in the end that sale may become worthless. This is certainly the case if it is not paid at all. Astre helps to keep your sales profitable.
